This is a rare, one of a kind, animation, production drawing featuring Hanna Barbera's classic character and wife of stone age star, Fred Flintstone, the lovely Wilma Flintstone! This hand drawn, carbon and colored pencil, animation, production, layout drawing was drawn by Emmy award winning animators. This drawing has a lot of great action. This is a 12 field format, measuring 10.5" x 12.5", in excellent, untrimmed condition with the original studio peg holes as used to create the commercial or cartoon. This was used in the production of the cartoon and is not a reproduction of any kind. Ready for framing!

Trivia
The Flintstones were TV's first prime-time animated series and a really big hit. Modeled as an ancient sitcom based on The Honeymooners, you can feel Jackie Gleason in Fred and Art Carney as Barney, for major characters and their relationships, and "Stone Age Cartoons", from Fleischer Studio (home of Popeye and Betty Boop). The series originally ran six seasons, and when it went off the air, the characters hit the big screen with their first feature film, The Man Called Flintstone (1966). In 1987 they starred in the TV movie in which they meet The Jetsons, and eventually would star in the 1994 live-action movie starring John Goodman as Fred and Rick Moranis as Barney.
There were also several spin offs over the years with Pebbles, Bamm Bamm and Dino all getting a break with starring rolls. The characters still appear regularly on network TV, and in commercials as product pitch men like many other stars of today. They also currently pitch Fruity & Cocoa Pebbles cereal, which were actually named for them. The animation for these spots are currently produced digitally, and have been for years, making these hand painted cels very rare and collectible!
